頂点プロトコル_ [ vertex.protocol_ ] is a audio/visual opera whose non-linear composition and generative processes emphasize the randomness of mixed events to a contained and minimal sound environment and the support of electro-acoustic equipment created specifically for this work (no-input processes and modem circuits).
This work tells of a protocol that has the ability to rewrite its code by itself using an artificial intelligence.
the work itself describes the belonging to a post-digital world that slips from human hands, becoming more autonomous and independent through the creation and reprogramming of itself, so as to create its own audio-visual and aesthetic identity through the "glitch" understood no longer as an error, but as a choice that the machine poses to the creative process.
The whole work is represented in black and white because of the connection to the binary machine language, and the generated sound explores the acoustic limits of man-made reproduction equipment.
In the code and in the images there is not a strictly recognizable visual content given that the theme is to represent the creation of a new language by rewriting the protocol.

- Non-linear composition, generative process, analog and digital techniques for an extensive research in sound design.
"Post-digital Research" aims at exploring what, in the afterglow of digital art and culture, lies beyond the digital as a form of existence. We are witnessing fundamental changes: we no longer distinguish between online and off-line or analogue and digital practices.
It has become embedded in almost every contemporary aesthetic practice. In this, our focus of attention somewhat shifts: we become interested in...
