Patchlab Digital Art Festival is an annual event for art based on the latest technologies and new media. We are interested in the creative potential of machines, algorithms, programming and databases. We showcase works by recognized artists, as well as by those from beyond the mainstream. We explore the key phenomena in contemporary culture and art, including VR, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, hacking and digital identities.
Patchlab includes all exhibitions, performances and audiovisual concerts, films, workshops with artists and technology specialists, meetings and discussions.
The festival has been held in Krakow since 2012.
Patchlab is organised by the Photon Foundation. It is part of the AVnode international platform of artists and events, presenting contemporary audiovisual art. It is supported by the Creative Europe European Union program.

- Patchlab Digital Art Festival è un evento annuale per l'arte basata sulle ultime tecnologie ed i new media.
Interessato al potenziale creativo delle macchine, algoritmi, programmi e databases, mostra i lavori creati da artisti affermati, ma anche di quelli che sono fuori dalla corrente mainstream.
Si esplorano i fenomeni chiave nella cultura e nell'arte contemporanea, che includono VR, realtà aumentate, intelligenza artificiale, hacking ed identità digitali.
Patchlab è esibizioni, performances e concerti audiovisuali, films, laboratori con artisti e specialisti di tecnologia,... - Elwira Wojtunik e Popesz Csaba Lang è un duo polacco-ungherese di fama mondiale di artisti visivi fondato nel 2004. I due progettano video live-acts unici sulla base di esperimenti dal vivo con video proiezioni di grande formato, mapping, performance audiovisive, video-installazioni interattive o proiezioni video per spettacoli teatrali.
Hanno partecipato come Artist-in-Residence al programma del MuseumQuartier a Vienna completato con una mostra presso la Electric Avenue (MQ). Le loro opere sono state esposte anche al Media Art Biennale WRO, Akarenga...
