PINOCCHIO — PRIMO ATTO

From the laughing, crying block of wood to the flight from the school bench, the first act tells the story of Pinocchio's birth and his first steps in the world — naive, chaotic, irresistible. Mathieu Vignon's illustrations come alive on the four walls of the cloister: Geppetto carving, the puppet kicking, the Talking Cricket warning, the fire burning his feet. A visual universe in constant motion, inhabited by Fiorenzo Carpi's melodies reworked in a jazz idiom by Carlo Gizzi — music that evokes childhood not as nostalgia, but as a state of mind still alive and pulsing.
