Misalignment is a multimodal A/V performance that explores the fragile and often fragmented dialogue between human and artificial intelligence.
The piece unfolds a relationship in which the roles of AI and human are deliberately blurred: who is the performer, the instrument, the subject?
In a quest for authenticity within the arid landscape of algorithmic logic, the performance takes shape through real-time improvisation, poetic interplay, and performative gesture, seeking moments of authenticity in the heart of the algorithm.
It is both a performance and a question: can emotion emerge in the unknown space between us and the machine?

INFRATONAL is the artistic project of Louk Amidou, a Paris-based multidisciplinary artist, musician, coder, and interaction designer working at the intersection of digital arts, electronic music, artificial intelligence, and real-time interaction.
Amidou’s relationship with creative technology began as a teenager within the Atari Demoscene of the 1990s, where coding, computer graphics, and electronic music existed as interconnected forms of experimentation.
