Edge of Order is an audiovisual performance that explores the moment when a system is no longer fully ordered, yet not chaotic either. The work reveals the subtle instability of structures: a state in which forms still hold together, but the tension within them shifts toward new patterns.
The visual and sonic layers do not depict collapse, but a creative transition — the zone that complexity theory calls the “critical point.” In this in between state emerges the possibility of transformation: order dissolves, chaos is not yet complete, and new forms arise from this fragile balance.
The piece highlights the beauty of disintegration: the delicate moment where everything is in motion and the beginning of something new first becomes visible.
