Sara Dralion's VJ set is a unique sensory experience, where videomapping techniques and audiovisual performances intertwine with dance and body movement. Born from the exploration between the physical and digital worlds, her work harnesses the power of multimedia technologies to create ever-evolving visual landscapes, where lights, images, and sounds merge into a dynamic and immersive whole.
A former classical and modern dancer, Dralion explores the interaction between the body and visual art, bringing to life performances that involve motion sensors, gyroscopes, projections, and lasers. Each set is designed to respond in real-time to the movements of the performers, creating an organic flow that stimulates and captivates the audience.
Presented in contexts such as the Fotonica Audio Visual Digital Arts Festival and the Babajaga Festival in Rome, her VJ set stands out for its innovative fusion of dance and technology, blending the fluidity of the body with the intensity of digital images and sounds. Each of Dralion’s performances is a visual and emotional journey, inviting the audience to explore new artistic dimensions where the body, light, and sound come together in a seamless, uninterrupted audiovisual symphony.
