əˈfeɪʒə live cinema is an audiovisual metaphor about the difficulty to articulate and understand spoken and written messages in people with Broca's aphasia, a disability acquired by brain injuries.
Project created by the artists Sandra Real (visualist) and Fabian Ávila (soundscape) as a result of their own experience as well as the interest in exploring the possibilities of fragmented narratives.

Author
- Multimedia designer, videojockey and live cinema artist. She has been part of important electronic music collectives in Mexico City such as Cuatrocuartos, Nucleo Roto, Discos Konfort and Konami. Produced VJMX first mexican vj's exhibition and directed LIVE CINEMA MÉXICO first documentary about this practice in México.
- Fabián Ávila Elizalde aka "Neural Xólotl" (Mexico, 1980) is an artist, teacher and researcher of listening and the sound arts. He studied a Master's Degree in Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He is self-taught as an electronic music producer, and was trained in electric bass and jazz theory with Aarón Cruz.
His work explores the social and emotional possibilities of listening, the results of which have been exhibited around the world....
