Visioni ubique - Ethnographic Explorations on Visual Arts
The lecture is based on the expansive concept of visual communication elaborated in the research of prof. Canevacci, who travels between photography, cinema, design, art, fashion, architecture, social networks.
Ubiquity presents itself as the fluid context within which the contemporary subject's experience of the pervasiveness of digital culture lives. The ubiquitous subject passes between different time-spans, mixes traditional anthropological distinctions between a family member and a stranger, and applies a reflective look based on the "look-out".
